These cookies help us create ads that are the most interesting to our users, and most profitable for the publishers and advertisers. These cookies are frequently used to select ads based on what is important for the users, improve feedback on the efficiency of the campaign, and ignore ads that the user has already seen.
Google uses cookies (e.g. NID and SID) to adapt advertising to its services (e.g. Google search engine). We use these cookies to remember last searches, last contact with offers by advertisers, search results and advertiser website visits. Because of this, we can show customised ads on the Google website.
We also use cookies to show ads throughout the web. IDE is one of the most important cookies related to ads and used on websites that are not owned by Google. It is saved by web browsers and is owned by the doubleclick.ne domain. Another cookie, saved under the google.com domain, is called ANID. We also use other cookies, such as DSID, FLC, AID, TAID or exchange_uid. We can also use cookies to show more appropriate ads on other Google services (e.g. YouTube).
Sometimes ad cookies can be installed in the domain of the visited website. In relation to the ads that are shown throughout the web, the cookies set in the domain of the visited website may be ‘__gads’ or ‘__gac’. Unlike other cookies, saved under Google’s own domains, Google cannot read these cookies when you visit other websites. This makes it possible to measure interaction with ads within a specific domain, without showing the same ads to specific users too frequently.
Furthermore, Google uses various cookies related to conversion, whose main purpose is to help advertisers determine how many people who have clicked on the ad have purchased the products. These cookies help Google and advertisers verify if you visited the advertiser’s website after clicking on the ad. Google does not use any conversion-related cookies for ads that concern personal interests, and such cookies have a limited expiry period. We use a cookie called ‘Conversion’ for this purpose. It is essentially set up in the googleadservices.com or google.com domain (you can find a list of the domains that we use for advertising cookies at the bottom of this page). Certain cookies may be used to measure events that lead to conversion. For example, Cookie DoubleClick and Google Analytics may also be used for this purpose.
We use the AID, DSID and TAID cookies to link your actions over multiple different devices, if you previously logged onto your Google account in any of them. This makes it possible for us to coordinate ads shown on different devices, and measure events that lead to conversion. These files will be set up at the following domains: google.com/ads, google.com/ads/measurement or googleadservices.com. If you would not like the ads that you see to be coordinated over multiple devices, you may switch ad personalisation off in the ad settings.
